Like most churches, St John’s depends on teams of volunteers to help run the many services and activities organised by the Church. Have you time, energy or expertise that you could offer? It’s a very good way of meeting other church members whilst contributing to the life of the Church. Here are some of the ways you could contribute:

Gardening in St John’s attractive garden

Preparing for events (moving chairs, putting out service orders or leaflets, etc.)

Joining the Sound Desk team, which coordinates the microphones used during services and events – it’s not as difficult as it sounds, and you would be given training

Simple maintenance (which could include putting up and taking down the flag on the tower)

Flower-arranging

Helping with the tea and coffee served on Sunday mornings
