There are many ways to get involved at St John’s: join us for Sunday worship, or come along to one of our activities. We also run Life Groups. If you’d like to offer practical help, take a look at our Work Groups page.

We are looking for volunteeers for the following areas

Refreshment team for the Sunday 10am service

You would be on a rota around once a month - great way to meet lots of people who are attending the church. 

Prayer Focus Team

Part of the service on the 10am service on Sundays is offering prayer for anyone who is attending the service. There is a rota and you would pray about once a month. Talk to Judy for more information

Children, Youth and families Ministry

Do you have a heart to see children, young people, and families discover the love of Jesus? Our ministry is growing, and with it comes the exciting need for more hands, hearts, and voices to step in. This isn’t just babysitting or filling a rota—it’s investing in the next generation, planting seeds of faith, and showing God’s love in action. The challenge is real, the impact is eternal, and the joy is contagious. Could God be nudging you to join us?

Meads Munchkins Baby and toddler group on Thursday mornings 9.00 - 11.30am

Junior Church on Sunday morning 9.30-11.30am 

Holiday Clubs once a year in the summer

Messy Church throughout the year - Light Party (Halloween), Christmas, Lent, Easter, Pentecost 1-4.30pm. 

Kitchen Table on the last Saturday of each month 8.30-11.30am

Coming soon: Youth afterschool Club, Youth Alpha, Children’s Afterschool club.
