Church Patronage

The patronage of St John’s church is vested in an advowson trust that has the right to nominate a new incumbent for the parish in accordance with the Patronage(Benefices) Measure, 1986.  

The Trust is chaired by Clive Dilloway, a former chairman of the Diocesan Board of Finance and a former deputy chairman of the Archbishop’s Council committee responsible for the deployment of clergy, assisted by: former churchwarden Margaret Kowszun; the Venerable Paul Hooper, retired Archdeacon of Leeds and son of a previous incumbent; and Richard Wells, a retired solicitor.  

Currently there is one vacancy.
