Children & Young People

SUNDAYS

Children and youth start in the main service on Sundays; there is All Age worship at the beginning. They then go to their groups and return towards the end of the service. Young people aged 15+ stay in the service.

BABIES AND TODDLERS (0-3)

There is an unsupervised area in the Baptistry for parents who want to take their little ones out anytime during the service. Books and toys are provided and there is a TV set up so adults can see and hear the service.

JUNIOR CHURCH (Aged 4-10)

The children meet together in the Pauling Room for action packed praise and worship.  We explore the wonders of God, learn about Jesus and grow in faith through prayer, songs, Bible stories, a short talk, games and craft in line with the day’s theme.

THE LODGERS (Aged 10-14)

The young people meet together in the Lodge for games, Bible study, discussion and prayer then join their parents in church for communion.

MIDWEEK

Our midweek groups have many exciting activities and opportunities for children and young people to make friends, grow in their faith and serve alongside the adults in the church. Groups run term-time only.

MEADS MUNCHKINS

Bring your little munchkins to play, create, sing and explore life through toys, instruments, craft and other activities. The group is known for it’s welcoming, relaxed atmosphere where parents and carers can come together, chat and have a tea or coffee, while the children have fun.

After an hour of free play, we have a story then a healthy snack and finish the morning off with some bubble infused joyful singing.  £1 donation per family (includes refreshments)
