Bereavement can take several forms. All of us, at some point in our lives, experience the death of someone we love. Other losses too, such as the ending of a relationship, the loss of a job or health, may leave us feeling disorientated, lonely, angry, or hurt.
The grieving process may take a long time, and no two people have the same loss or the same journey but walking alongside others who have travelled a similar path can bring comfort and hope.
Our Bereavement team is here to support you.
The Bereavement Café is open on the last Tuesday of the month. It’s a place where people can talk about the pain of loss and find courage and strength in knowing they are not alone.’ You would be assured of a warm welcome. Please see the poster below.

The Bereavement Journey
This is a six-week course for a small group, usually held in the comfort of a home. It is for anyone who has been bereaved at any time and in any way. By means of a series of films and discussion, it gently guides bereaved people through the most common aspects of grief, enabling them to process the implications for themselves and discern next steps.
One recent participant commented:
‘In the group I realised that I wasn’t going mad, and it was so good to share with others in a safe place.’
The Bereavement Journey course runs regularly. See the What’s on for the next course date.
